“Yes, It Is As You Say”

To the high priest’s question, ” I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”  Jesus replied, “Yes, it is as you say.” (Matthew 26:63)

To the governor’s question, ” Are you the king of the Jews?”  Jesus replied, “Yes, it is as you say.” (Matthew 27:11)

Jesus asked his disciples, who do people say the Son of Man is?  Disciples replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”  Jesus asked his disciples, “But what about you? Who do you say I am?”  Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:13-16)

What do I say about Jesus Christ today?

I say, He is my Lord and God who is in control of everything when some things seems out of control.  He is my Joy who gives strength to go on despite the fear that tries to bring me down.  He is my Peace who turned a sleepless night few days ago (because of worries), into a meaningful time with the Prince of Peace.  He is my Hope when situations seem hopeless.  He is my Best Friend who listens to everything that I say and don’t say (to that which is in my heart).

And I say, He is Christ, the Son of the living God.

He is Risen, He is Alive and He is Coming Soon!

  1. Jesus asked the blind men who followed him, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” (Mat 9:28)
“According to you faith will it be done to you” (Mat 9:29)

It is as we believe and as we say.
